We are Rob & Aitzi, and we are excited to help changemakers tell their stories in an empowered and authentic way. Toartle means a steady walk towards your dreams, following your heart and desires with stability and strength. It’s a combination of the words “Together + Art + Turtle.”
After 15 years in London, we’d each built our careers in design and business, work we loved. Yet, despite gaining invaluable experience, we were both feeling a little stuck and unfulfilled.
We wanted to expand our horizons in every way, and truly make a difference. We wanted to balance culture and life. To shift our perception of what was possible. Most of all, we wanted to use our combined skills and passions in service of a greater good. We just didn’t know how.
So it felt appropriate that the answer came to us while walking down a wild, remote beach.
We took the plunge, packing up our things and leaving London. We travelled around in a campervan, enjoying the freedom that came from it.
Along the way, people shared their inspiring stories, as excited about ethical and sustainable living as we were. This connection to so many creative communities sparked endless ideas. On that beach, we thought about ways we could combine our skills, our values, and our passions – and Toartle was born.
